gowanus garden space

This space, in an industrial area of Brooklyn, was a complete build-out involving construction of a cedar bi-level deck, custom-built wall screens, a storage shed, lighting and an extensive plant list.
We combined traditional cottage garden plants like azalea, hosta, digitialis and flowering quince with asian textured plants: bamboo, colocasia and hardy schefflera. It’s beautiful from morning to night.
